Peer Review Process

Agribuss: Journal of Agribusiness and Business Management applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, validity, and academic integrity of all published articles.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are reviewed through the following stages:

Submission

Manuscripts are submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must ensure that their submissions comply with the journal’s scope, author guidelines, and publication ethics.

Initial Screening

The editorial team conducts an initial assessment to evaluate the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, originality, academic quality, and compliance with formatting and ethical requirements. Plagiarism screening is conducted at this stage. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without external review.

Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are reviewed using a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise in the relevant field.

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its scholarly merit, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, and contribution to agribusiness and business management studies.

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. The decision and reviewers’ comments are communicated to the authors.

Revision

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in response to the reviewers’ and editor’s comments and resubmit the revised version within the specified timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be subject to further review if necessary.

Final Decision

The editor makes the final decision regarding acceptance after evaluating the revised manuscript.

Copyediting and Publication

Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and layout editing before being published online in the scheduled issue.

Review Duration

The average review and publication process takes approximately 2–4 months, depending on the quality of the submission and the responsiveness of reviewers and authors.
