Analysis of Robusta Coffee Farming Income in the Makarti Utomo Farmers Group, Getas Village, Singorojo District, Kendal Regency

Farming has a main activity in development, namely increasing production both in quality and quantity. Increased production with good quality greatly affects farmers' income. This study aims to analyze the total costs, revenues, income, and feasibility of farming in terms of R/C. The location of this study is the Makarti Utomo Farmers Group, Getas Village, Singorojo District, Kendal Regency. Primary data was obtained from farmers through a prepared questionnaire, while secondary data was obtained from the Village office. The basic method of research used is a descriptive method. Respondent sampling used a census method, respondents were 37 robusta coffee farmers of the Makarti Utomo Farmers Group. The analysis method used was the calculation of total costs, revenues, income, and R/C analysis. The results of the study showed that the average total costs incurred by farmers were Rp. 5,975,048/year and the average income was Rp. 22,370,270/year, so the average income earned by coffee farmers was Rp. 16,395,222/year with an average coffee plantation area of 5,168 m² and an average number of coffee plants of 617. The R/C value analysis shows an average result of 3.2, thus it can be concluded that the robusta coffee farming business in the Makarti Utomo Farmers Group is feasible to be cultivated or developed.
