Peer Review Process

Journal of Political Science and Policy Research (JPSPR) applies a peer review process. All articles submitted to Jurnal Wacana Politik will be reviewed in double blind review by peer reviewers. In general, each article will be reviewed by one to two reviewers. The responses from these reviewers will be used as the basis for the Editor to determine whether an article can be accepted, accepted if accepted with major/minor revision, or rejected. An article is refused to be published due to various considerations, among which the article is not in accordance with the scope of the Social Sciences and Humanities, the scientific side of the article is inadequate to be classified in a scientific paper, a basic methodological error, or because the author refuses to make suggestions for improvement given by a reviewer without a logical basis. All submitted articles will be checked for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Screening Plagiarism

Screening Plagiarism will be conducted by Jurnal Wacana Politik. Editorial Board will not tolerate for any plagiarism. Therefore, Author should check their article through plagiarism checker application. For instance, turnitin application or other applications. If an article is indicated as a plagiary, it will be rejected and will not be reviewed.  

Reference Management

Every manuscript submitted to Journal of Political Science and Policy Research (JPSPR)  is recommended to use reference management (Mendeley) in the citation process and bibliography writing
