Archiving Policy

Universal Business and Management Review (UBMAR) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content.

The journal participates in recognized digital preservation programs to guarantee permanent archiving and continued access to its articles, even in the event that the journal is no longer published.

LOCKSS

UBMAR utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed preservation network among participating libraries. This system allows libraries to collect, preserve, and provide access to the journal’s content, ensuring redundancy and long-term digital security.

CLOCKSS

UBMAR also supports archiving through CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS), a community-governed, not-for-profit digital preservation initiative. CLOCKSS ensures that journal content remains permanently accessible through a distributed global archive. In the event that the journal content becomes unavailable, CLOCKSS will make it openly accessible to the public.

Through these archiving systems, UBMAR guarantees the preservation, integrity, and continued availability of its scholarly record.
